From what I learned this cpu was originally produced as a 3.4Ghz Pentium 4, but then the quality control team tested it and found it could only run at 3.2Ghz. These underclocked cpus were commonly found in Dell prebuilts (where this came from). It does work, and I was running a operating system on it.
